Rock of Ages Gets Sugar High at Serendipity

Being a rock star is totally sweet, but it’s even sweeter when famed treats-spot Serendipity 3 honors you with your own ice cream concoction, as the cast of off-Broadway’s hit hair-band musical Rock of Ages discovered November 6. The show's stars dropped by Serendipity’s uptown location for the unveiling of the shop’s “I Wanna Rock Root Beer Float,” a blend of root beer, M&M-studded ice cream, Pop Rocks and “big hair” cotton candy accented with a lollipop guitar, which was created in honor of the rock 'n' roll show. Stars Constantine Maroulis, Mitchell Jarvis, Lauren Molina and more dug in with gusto, attacking their namesake snack like a pack of rabid groupies.
