Brighton Beach Memoirs Returns

The Broadway revival of Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs begins performances at the Nederlander Theatre, directed by David Cromer.

Set in 1937, Brighton Beach Memoirs focuses on wisecracking teenager Eugene (a character based on the playwright) who dreams about baseball and girls while his overworked father struggles to provide for the extended family.

The central role of Eugene will be played by high school senior Noah Robbins. He joins Laurie Metcalf as matriarch Kate Jerome, Dennis Boutsikaris as patriarch Jack Jerome, Santino Fontana as older brother Stanley Jerome, Jessica Hecht as Kate’s widowed sister, Blanche, Alexandra Socha as Nora and Gracie Bea Lawrence as Laurie.
