The Roundabout Theatre Company is best known as the dominating Broadway presence currently represented by Bye Bye Birdie, After Miss Julie, Wishful Drinking and off-Broadway's The Understudy . The company isn't just about big-name stars, however. The company is also dedicated to exposing rising talents in theater community through its Roundabout Underground initiative, now in its third year at the Laura Pels Theatre. The Underground is currently producing its first musical, Ordinary Days , composer and librettist Adam Gwon's four-person love letter to life in New York City. We talked to Gwon, director Marc Bruni and cast members Hunter Foster, Lisa Brescia, Kate Wetherhead and Jared Gertner about this promising new work, and the even more promising talent behind it.
