Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters performed a one-night-only evening of song called Bernadette Peters: A Special Concert for Broadway Barks Because Broadway Cares, on November 9 at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre. The show benefited two of Peters’ pet charities: Broadway Barks (which she co-founded) and BC/EFA. We’re talking big bucks! The star raked in over a half million dollars for the great causes. Of course, where there’s Bernadette, there’s a dedicated following. Her fans include such celebs as Hugh Jackman, Martin Short, Andrea Marin, Joel Grey and more.
