Sarah Stiles Returns to the Cast of Avenue Q

Sarah Stiles, who starred as Kate Monster and Lucy in Avenue Q on Broadway, is returning to the musical. Stiles will begin performances in the show, which is now playing at off-Broadway’s New World Stages, on January 8, 2010.

Stiles appeared in Avenue Q on Broadway from November 2007 to November 2008. Her other theater credits include the off-Broadway musical Vanities at Second Stage, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway, off-Broadway’s Captain Louie and the tour of Tommy Tune's Dr. Doolittle.

The Tony-winning musical is about a group of 20-something people and puppets fresh out of college who move to New York City with big dreams and tiny bank accounts. It began previews at New World Stages on October 9, 2009 and opened October 21, having concluded its six-year run on Broadway on September 13, 2009.

Stiles joins a cast that includes Seth Rettberg, Cullen Titmus, Danielle K. Thomas, Sala Iwamatsu, Nicholas Kohn and Maggie Lakis.
