Is there any escape better than the music of Frank Sinatra? The unmistakable sound of his voice can transport you to another time and place, where you’ve got the world on a string. And while you’re sittin’ on that rainbow, there is no better view than the thrilling work of director/choreographer Twyla Tharp. Tharp, who struck gold with her innovative musical Movin’ Out, is back with a new Broadway show, Come Fly Away. It combines Ole Blue Eyes’ extensive songbook with the iconic choreographer’s own brand of narrative dance carried out by a talented array of performers. Can’t wait for this match made in heaven to hit the Marquis Theatre on March 1 (and officially open on March 25)? Check out these dazzling shots by Ruven Afanador of the dancers in the show.
