The new musical by composer Chris Miller, lyricist Nathan Tysen and book writer Mariana Elder follows the story of a group of teenagers in rural Virginia after their fathers are killed in a 1950s coal mining accident. When news comes 10 years after the tragedy that the mine that took away their fathers will reopen, the effects on 18-year-old Jake (Charlie Brady), kid brother Pete (Al Calderon), pals Dusty (Noah Gavlin) and Chet (Andrew Durand), Jake's girlfriend Annie and the mine owner's daughter, Frances (Molly Ranson), reverberates in deeply varied ways.
