Sanders returns to the role of Christmas Eve, which she previously played on Broadway.

Ann Sanders is returning to the role of Christmas Eve in the Tony-winning Avenue Q on April 5. Sanders previously played the role for three years during the show’s initial Broadway run.

Sanders’ other theater credits include Belle in Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast, as well as Miss Saigon, Carousel and The King and I.

Avenue Q follows an intermingling group of young adults, comprised of both humans and puppets, trying to find their way in New York City. After a six year Broadway run, Avenue Q transferred to off-Broadway’s New World Stages in October 2009.

Sanders joins a cast that includes Nicholas Kohn, Maggie Lakis, Seth Rettberg, Sarah Stiles, Cullen R. Titmas and Danielle K. Thomas.
