After making his Broadway debut almost 60 years ago as a child actor (billed as Ken Walken) in The Climate of Eden, Christopher Walken spent the early part of his career as a Broadway hoofer. Though he grew up to be an Oscar-winning movie star, Walken has returned often to the stage, and his acclaimed star turn in Martin McDonagh’s A Behanding in Spokane inspired a richly deserved tribute: his very own cariacature at Sardi’s! Surrounded by his Broadway co-stars, the star unveiled his portrait at a ceremony on April 6 at the theater district landmark.
