Norbert Leo Butz in 'Enron'

If you’ve been following the news as recently as, say, this morning, you can see that the world is obsessed financial scandal. Now Enron, the company that’s become synonymous with ignominious collapse, has a Broadway show to razzle-dazzle audiences with its tale its rise and fall. Lucy Prebble’s Enron, directed by Rupert Goold, stars Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz in the pivotal role of Enron’s president Jeffrey Skilling as well as Marin Mazzie, Gregory Itzin and Stephen Kunken. The show is more of a theatrical spectacle than a lecture on the perils of accounting fraud. Check out these photos by Joan Marcus for a taste of Broadway’s new stylish season entry, which opens at the Broadhurst Theatre on April 27.
