The 'Memphis' star will perform at Ford's Theatre.

Montego Glover, the Tony-nominated star of the Broadway musical Memphis, will be among the cast at the Ford's Theatre Society’s annual gala, to be filmed on June 6 at the historic DC theater. Portions of the show, titled America Celebrates July 4th at Ford’s Theatre, will be telecast on July 2 on ABC-TV.

The gala will be hosted by Modern Family star Ty Burrell with a cast to include Glover, Mary Poppins stars Laura Michelle Kelly and Gavin Lee, Kelly Clarkson, Dick Van Dyke, Renée Fleming, George Lopez, Lionel Richie and Robin Roberts, as well as The Soldiers' Chorus of the United States Army Field Band.

First Lady Michelle Obama serves as the honorary chair of the gala celebration, and she and President Obama have been invited to attend the program.
