It's been almost 13 years since The Lion King opened on Broadway, but the show is still drawing capacity crowds and feels as fresh as ever. On June 15, Disney's megahit musical is welcomed a new group of principal players to the Minskoff Theatre: Alton Fitzgerald White (Mufasa), Gareth Saxe (Scar), Chaunteé Schuler (Nala), Cameron Pow (Zazu), Fred Berman (Timon) and Ben Jeffrey (Pumbaa). After the newbies took their first curtain call, they were welcomed with a cake and posed for pictures with their show's Tony-winning director, Julie Taymor. Can't you feel the love at The Lion King? We can!
