“This play is called Our Town. It was written by Thornton Wilder.” And now those famous opening lines will be uttered by Helen Hunt, who joins the acclaimed off-Broadway revival of the classic American drama on July 6 as the Stage Manager. Hunt is no stranger to Grover’s Corners, having starred as Emily Webb in a 1989 Broadway mounting of the play. Now she’s set to make her mark on a role usually played by a man—and we’ve got Carol Rosegg’s production photos of the Oscar-winning star in action. Get tickets soon, because Hunt is scheduled to appear at the Barrow Street Theatre only through August 1.
