What’s an Oscar- and Emmy-winning actress doing at a tiny off-Broadway theater? In the case of Helen Hunt, it’s a return to her stage roots in a play she knows well: Our Town. The popular star made her Broadway debut in 1989 as Emily Webb in Thornton Wilder’s American classic, and now she’s playing the Stage Manager in David Cromer’s inspired and inspiring production of the play. Hunt took her first bow on July 6 at the Barrow Street Theatre, and Broadway.com captured the moment with the cast and a few guests. Grover’s Corners has an exciting new narrator, through August 1!
