On September 28, Stephen Buntrock will step into the leading role of Fredrik Egerman in A Little Night Music opposite Bernadette Peters as Desiree Armfeldt. Buntrock has been with the show since it opened, playing Mr. Lindquist and understudying the original Fredrik, Alexander Hanson. He will now face off with Bradley Dean, who recently took over the role of duel-hungry Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm from Aaron Lazar.
