One of our favorite wonderful guys, Paulo Szot, got a starry crowd swooning on September 14 when he made his debut at the swanky Café Carlyle in “An Evening with Paulo Szot.” The celebrated operatic baritone and Tony Award winner for his star turn as Emile de Becque in South Pacific electrified the audience with a mix of tunes from the Great American Songbook (inclusing his encore, "If Ever I Would Leave You") and jazzy selections from his native Brazil. Accompanied by the Bob Albanese Trio, Szot filled with house with admiring fans, including his former co-star Kelli O’Hara. Click on to celebrate Paulo’s enchanted cabaret evening.
