Original Cast Member Leigh Zimmerman Will Be Chicago's Next Velma Kelly

Leigh Zimmerman will take over the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago on October 8. Zimmerman returns to the production after having originated the role of Go-To-Hell Kitty when the revival first opened on Broadway in 1996. She has played Velma in the West End production in 2001 and 2009.

Zimmerman's other Broadway credits include The Will Rogers Follies, Crazy for You and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She appeared as Ulla in the Las Vegas production of The Producers.

Chicago currently stars Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tom Hewitt as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Roz Ryan as Matron Mama Morton.
