Howie Michael Smith will return to the hit musical Avenue Q as Princeton/Rod beginning September 27. Smith performed in the show, which is now playing at off-Broadway's New World Stages, more than 1,000 times during Avenue Q's Broadway run.

The current cast of Avenue Q also features Sarah Stiles (Kate Monster and Lucy), Cullen R. Titmas (Nicky and Trekkie Monster), Nicholas Kohn (Brian), Haneefah Wood (Gary Coleman), Hazel Anne Raymundo (Christmas Eve) and Becca Ayers (Mrs. T, Bear and others).

Avenue Q follows an intermingling group of young adults, comprised of both humans and puppets, trying to find their way in New York City. After a six-year Broadway run (in which the show scored the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical), Avenue Q transferred to off-Broadway’s New World Stages in October 2009.
