Billy Elliot, the Broadway tale of a working-class British boy with a gift for ballet, passed another milestone on April 8 when the Elton John-penned musical celebrated 1000 performances on the Great White Way. After the landmark performance, Billys past and present headed to the lobby of the Imperial Theatre, which the show has called home since it opened on November 2008. Along with their co-stars and director Stephen Daldry, these talented title stars celebrated their accomplishment in true Broadway style: with cake and—for cast members of a certain age—Champagne!
