How to Succeed star John Larroquette had the audience cracking up as he accepted his Audience Choice Award trophy for Favorite Funny Performance at this year’s ceremony, but the actor delivered a sincere thanks to the musical’s fans after leaving the stage.

“There are ways to judge if fans like you if you’re on a television show: They’ll keep watching you and you’ll get renewed,” the five-time Emmy winner said, “but to be here on Broadway for the first time and for people to come to the theater, enjoy the show and take the time to go online and vote is very special. It’s a heartfelt thanks from them, which I give back to them.”

Larroquette was also thrilled to share a Favorite Onstage Pair award alongside his co-star, Daniel Radcliffe. “He’s wonderful to work with and I love being onstage with him. I’m just lapping the gravy that he drops off his plate.”
