Tammy Blanchard
Tony nominee Tammy Blanchard rocks the red carpet.

When it comes to fashion, too much is not enough for sexy secretary Hedy La Rue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Tony-nominated actress Tammy Blanchard, on the other hand, is always chic and gorgeous on the red carpet. We love the way Blanchard pays attention to every aspect of her ensembles and chooses outfits appropriate for each event and venue—from her knockout Donna Karan gown on opening night to an understated Rachel Roy sleeveless dress as a presenter at the Theatre World Awards. Scroll down for a few fashion lessons from the fabulous Ms. Tammy Blanchard.

Old-School Glamour
Now this is how to make an entrance on opening night! At How to Succeed’s black-tie celebration at the Plaza Hotel on March 27, Blanchard went into full goddess mode in a silver sequined gown by Donna Karan Collection, jewelry by Kimberly McDonald and shoes by Guiseppe Zanotti. Taking the look to the next level: a fur stole and clutch by Celestina, plus Blanchard’s sleek Veronica Lake hairdo and red lips.

Smoking Hot
Can a frock be both feminine and fierce? Blanchard walked that fashion line perfectly at off-Broadway’s Lucille Lortel Awards on May 1 in a belted, brocaded party dress by A-list favorite Naeem Khan. As usual, the accessories are also A-list: shoes by Guiseppe Zanotti, jewelry by Kimberly McDonald and a metallic clutch by Celestina. Work it, Tammy!

Portrait of a Lady
The Tony press reception (held the day after nominations are announced) allows nominees to show off their personalities to a horde of reporters eager for sound bites. Blanchard proved that good taste and elegance are always in style in a classic camel sheath dress by Rachel Roy. Scroll up to the headline collage to get a peek at the draping effect in back, and marvel at the genius of Blanchard’s tomato red Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, matching nails and jewelry by Kimberly McDonald.

Simply Divine
Sometimes a casual event presents the most difficult fashion challenge, but Blanchard got it right at the Theatre World Awards, an afternoon ceremony on June 7. (A former winner of the coveted newcomer prize, Blanchard presented to her How to Succeed co-star John Larroquette.) She turned once again to Rachel Roy for a daytime LBD featuring a paneled insert at the waistline accentuating her hourglass figure. Her summery look included natural hair and makeup, earrings by David Yurman and sandals by Alexandre Birman. Lovely!
