About the Show
By their own count, the original stars of Hair have celebrated six big opening nights: Central Park concerts (2007), Central Park full production (2008), Broadway opening (2009), Broadway second cast opening (2010), London opening (2010) and now a happy return to Broadway. The touring company of the show—starring original cast members Steel Burkhardt and Paris Remillard as Berger and Claude—opened a summer run at the St. James Theatre on July 13, with a gala celebration afterwards at Sky Bar. The stars, director Diane Paulus and librettist James Rado chatted with Broadway.com about what this Broadway summer of love means to them. Take a look.
