Spend an Action-Packed Day with Chester Gregory, Sister Act's Top Cop

Chester Gregory could teach his Sister Act character—a semi-valiant, would-be Romeo—a thing or two about playing it cool. As sweetheart cop Eddie ‘Sweaty Eddie’ Souther, Gregory spends his stage time pining for the glamorous Deloris Van Cartier (Patina Miller). Off stage, the Broadway vet (an alum of Hairspray, Tarzan and Cry-Baby) has his hands in a million and one projects and is equally at home on the stage and in the recording studio. Gregory recently invited Broadway.com photographer Jenny Anderson to tag along as he laid down vocals for his solo album, coached some of New York’s aspiring performers and reported for duty at the Broadway Theatre.
