About the Show
Memphis, Tennessee is a city with great BBQ, soulful music and a rich history. In fact, three recent New York stage successes are set in the Southern city: of course, the Tony-winning musical Memphis, the rockin' off-Broadway music lesson Million Dollar Quartet and the starry Martin Luther King, Jr. drama The Mountaintop. While in town for the opening of the national tour of Memphis, Editor-in-Chief Paul Wontorek took our cameras for a tour of the real-life historic spots that are seen onstage in these three very different productions.
