Block, who recently talked to Broadway.com about dusting off her tap shoes to sub for the Tony winner while she’s off filming a TV pilot, is making a splash as the nightclub singer-turned-evangelist. Sneak a peek at Block's sassy, red-headed Sweeney, then head to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre and hear her belt out classic Cole Porter tunes like “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and the show's iconic title number.
