A pair of Broadway favorites, Tony winners and stage legends is reuniting for An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, described as “a musical love story, rendered through the songs of Sondheim, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Kander & Ebb, Sondheim, Loesser and more.” These inimitable stars sat down together to let people in on the chemistry that makes this onstage love story such a thrill. According to the endlessly affectionate duo, lifelong friends who both earned Tonys for their roles in 1979’s Evita, they love to be on stage together and that love is transmitted to the audience. “This is one of the gifts of my life, being able to do this with her,” Patinkin says.
