Memphis got a little taste of WKRP in Cincinnati on November 19, when Emmy nominee Howard Hesseman dropped by the Shubert Theatre to see Adam Pascal spin the hits as Huey Calhoun in the Tony Award-winning musical Memphis. Hesseman is known to TV audiences for his work in the hit 1970s sitcom as WKRP’s anti-disco disc jockey John “Dr. Johnny Fever” Caravella. Hockadoo to Howard for coming by!
