In a vibrant mix of classic storytelling and jazzy rhythms, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever star Harry Connick Jr. has turned his holiday song “The Happy Elf” into a charming new children’s book, complete with a companion CD. Originally released as part of Connick’s 2003 Christmas album Harry for the Hollidays, the song has already inspired an animated film and stage musical, and now Dan Andreasen has provided retro-look color illustrations for the book, published by HarperCollins.
