As nerdy blogger and college basketball mascot Xander in Broadway’s Lysistrata Jones, Jason Tam has got serious game flexing his brains and brawn, but in order to keep those hoop dreams alive onstage, the actor concentrates on muscle management once he leaves the court. Tam invited Broadway.com into the dressing room he shares with co-star Josh Segarra at the Walter Kerr Theatre to show off his mind and body relaxation essentials. Besides a fully loaded iPod and a log-shaped pillow he swears has magical powers, Tam’s “ah-mah-zing” Thumper massager and foam roller, “which hurts like a mofo,” help the baller stay limber so he’s ready to slam-dunk when the buzzer blows.
