Hey, Old Friends! Stephen Sondheim and the Original Cast of Merrily We Roll Along Share an Emotional Reunion at Encores!

The Encores! production of Merrily We Roll Along got a very special visit from some “old friends” when members of the show's original 1981 Broadway cast and composer Stephen Sondheim mingled with the new cast at a Valentine's Day pre-show cocktail reception. After the curtain came down at New York City Center, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Colin Donnell & Co. invited the original company to join them on stage for a reprise of the beloved Sondheim tune.
