No heartstring was left un-tugged at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on March 18, when bittersweet love story Once celebrated its official Broadway opening. Emotions ran high for stars Steve Kazee and Cristin Milioti who lead the cast as Guy and Girl, a struggling Irish singer/songwriter and Czech pianist who come together to make beautiful music. The original stars and Oscar winning composers of Once, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, have been with the project from its humble beginnings as a low-budget film and were on hand to welcome it to the bright lights of Broadway.
