The 1960 National Convention is underway, and we’ve got a first look at two candidates fighting for the presidency in the Broadway revival of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man. Featuring John Larroquette, Eric McCormack, James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, Candice Bergen, Kerry Butler, Michael McKean and Jefferson Mays, The Best Man opens officially on April 1 and will play an 18-week limited engagement, through July 8. The Best Man centers on the battle between Secretary William Russell (Larroquette) and Senator Joseph Cantwell (McCormack), each of whom possess knowledge that could take the other man out of the race.
