Whoopi Goldberg Savors the View at Musical Hit Newsies

Before she became co-host of TV’s The View, Whoopi Goldberg was a Tony-winning producer and performer, and she prides herself on staying on top of the theatrical scene. On May 23, Goldberg headed to the Nederlander Theatre for a performance of eight-time Tony nominee Newsies, then stepped backstage to congratulate the show's lovebirds, Kara Lindsay (Katherine) and Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Jack), on their performances.
