Fernanda Coppel’s Chimichangas and Zoloft opened off-Broadway on June 3, and Broadway.com has a first look at this delicious new comedy. The world premiere production examines the effect on two families when one of the mothers, Sonja (Zabryna Guevara), flees the flock after indulging in the title substances, and the reaction of two teenage daughters (Xochitl Romero and Carmen Zilles) and their suspiciously close fathers (Alfredo Narciso and Teddy Cañez). The comedy, directed by Jaime Castañeda, currently plays at Atlantic Theater Company’s Atlantic Stage 2 through June 24.
