I don't listen to musical theater on my iPod.

The Theatre District's swanky new nightclub 54 Below is hosting a slew of Broadway's hottest stars this summer, from two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone to downtown diva Mx Justin Vivian Bond. Broadway.com is asking these talented vocalists to share a few musical memories and tell fans about the music that molded them into the performers they are today. Next up is three-time Tony nominee Rebecca Luker, who is performing her new show, Rebecca Luker Sings Jerome Kern, at 54 Below on July 6 and 7. This beloved Broadway soprano shares her love of Rage Against the Machine, Fleetwood Mac and, of course, Jerome Kern.

What record/album was your favorite growing up?
There were so many! I can't choose between my folks' Big Band collection, Cat Stevens and Karla Bonoff.

What is your go-to audition song?
I don't have one. I try to sing a song in the style of the piece.

What song are you most excited to perform in your show?
A little-known ballad from Kern's very early days called "Not You." But I'm excited to sing all of them!

What musical theater track is the most played on your iPod?
I don't listen to musical theater on my iPod.

If you can invite any performer onstage for a duet at 54 Below, who would it be?
Renee Fleming.

What musical theater performer from the past do you wish you can collaborate with?
John Raitt.

What album was the soundtrack to your 20s?
So many! Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Aerosmith, Van Morrison...I could go on. Can't pick just one.

What’s your favorite love song?
"Why Was I Born?" by Jerome Kern.

What song makes you feel sexy?
"You Do Something to Me" by Cole Porter.

What is your favorite workout track?
"Killing in the Name of" by Rage Against the Machine. Surprised?

Favorite break-up song?
"Out of Love" by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich.

What song most makes you smile?
"Greenwich Time" by Sam Davis and Randy Buck.

Check out Rebecca Luker singing Jerome Kern at 54 Below July 6 and 7.
