A juicy sibling battle is brewing between four-time Tony winner Boyd Gaines and Emmy winner Richard Thomas in Manhattan Theatre Club’s forthcoming revival of An Enemy of the People. This fresh adaptation of Ibsen’s classic drama about a whistle-blowing doctor (Gaines) and his brother, the mayor of a beleaguered town (Thomas) will begin performances at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on September 4, and Gaines, Thomas and the rest of the cast paused during rehearsal on August 8 to pose for photos.
