Tony winner John Gallagher Jr. stepped out of The Newsroom and into VH1's studios on August 8 to chat with Big Morning Buzz Live host Carrie Keagan about moustaches, fictional presidents, embarrassing car mishaps and more. The Spring Awakening and American Idiot alum discussed how difficult it is to say “I love you” (especially for his romantically confused Newsroom character, Jim Harper) and the time he nearly killed his co-stars on The West Wing. As part of Newsroom creator Aaron Sorkin's inner-circle, Gallagher also revealed he has been invited over to Sorkin's house to help fire up the grill for a summer BBQ.
