Santa and the Radio City Rockettes Kick Off the Holiday Season With a Christmas Spectacular Preview

The 2012 Radio City Christmas Spectacular stopped traffic on August 14 with a “Christmas in August” preview extravaganza, and this year, the Radio City Rockettes have an extra special reason to celebrate: It’s their 85th anniversary of performing in New York. To mark this momentous occasion, Santa Claus and WPLJ’s John Foxx hosted a retrospective costume parade of Rockette fashions through the years outside Radio City Music Hall, to the delight of tourists on Sixth Avenue.
