Rehearsals are underway for the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Cyrano de Bergerac, and on August 23, the cast of Edmond Rostand’s classic play met the press. Director Jamie Lloyd and stars Douglas Hodge, Clemence Poesy, Patrick Page, Kyle Soller, Max Baker and more headed to their New York City rehearsal space in to pose for photos. Hodge, a Best Actor Tony winner for La Cage aux Folles, takes on a very different role in Cyrano as a man with an affinity for poetry and a nose for miles, who falls for the beautiful Roxane (Poesy)—but Roxane is in love with Christian (Soller), a handsome young cadet has no talent for expressing his ardor. Click below to see photos of the brand new cast, then see Cyrano de Bergerac (and his nose!) at the American Airlines Theatre beginning September 14.
