The American Theatre Wing’s 2012 gala will honor the Redgrave family’s six generations of contributions to the theater. The event will be held on September 24 at the Plaza Hotel, with Vanessa Redgrave and other family members in attendance.
Featuring cocktails, dinner and performances, the gala benefits the Wing’s education and outreach programs. Rodgers & Hammerstein executive director Theodore S. Chapin will also be honored for his service as chair of the organization.
The Redgrave family and their spouses include actors Michael Redgrave, Rachel Kempson, Vanessa Redgrave, Lynn Redgrave, Corin Redgrave, Natasha Richardson, Liam Neeson, Franco Nero, Joely Richardson and Jemma Redgrave; director Carlo Nero; and photographer Annabel Clark.
