After a three-year absence from the off-Broadway scene, the hilarious sketch musical Forbidden Broadway returns with a new cast and a new crop of shows to mock. Created by Gerard Alessandrini and starring Marcus Stevens, Jenny Lee Stern, Natalie Charle Ellis and Scott Richard Foster, Forbidden Broadway: Alive & Kicking opened off-Broadway at the 47th Street Theatre on September 6. In addition to the opening night of Forbidden Broadway’s 21st edition, the musical also celebrated its 30th anniversary.
