Adrienne Warren will help kick off Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

Adrienne Warren, who stars as ambitious cheerleader Danielle in Bring It On: The Musical, has been selected to record the opening song for this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The song, “Kickin’,” was written by Emmy Award-winning composers Bill Schermerhorn and Doug Katsaros, who also wrote last year’s tune, “(Won’t You) Join Our Parade.” Warren’s rendition of the opening number will be accompanied by a dance routine from the Texas State University Strutters.

Bring It On marks the Broadway debut of Warren, who also starred in the show’s national tour. Her other theater credits include the 2009 national tour of Dreamgirls and the Encores! production of The Wiz at New York City Center.

The 86th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC on November 22.
