Golden Boy, Clifford Odets’ classic New York drama about a young musical prodigy who risks it all for the fame and fortune of boxing, returns to Broadway on November 8. Lincoln Center Theater presents the 75th anniversary production directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific) and starring Seth Numrich as boxer Joe Bonaparte, as well as Tony Shalhoub, Danny Burstein and newcomer Yvonne Strahovski. On October 25, Sher and his stars met the New York press to smile for photos and explain why this Depression-set drama is even more poignant today.
