Matthew Broderick on 'Modern Family.'

Two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick guest stars on the November 14 episode of ABC’s hit comedy Modern Family in a fun and surprising role: a lovelorn gay man who mistakenly thinks that Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell) is hitting on him at the gym! The Nice Work If You Can Get It headliner plays David, a pal of Cameron (Emmy winner Eric Stonestreet), who encourages Broderick's character to check out guys while working out—without realizing that the potential object of his friend’s affection is a (straight) member of his own modern family. Click below for a preview of Matthew Broderick in a welcome TV comedy appearance, and tune in to see what happens when David accepts Phil's offer to watch a football game at the Dunphy home!
