'Women of Will,' starring Tina Packer, begins off-Broadway performances on January 29.
Women of Will, Tina Packer’s exploration of Shakespeare’s female characters from Beatrice to Viola, begins off-Broadway performances January 29 at the Gym at Judson Memorial Church. Directed by Eric Tucker and featuring Packer and Nigel Gore, Women of Will is scheduled to play a limited engagement through June 2.
Women of Will: The Complete Journey is a summation of Packer’s 40-plus years investigating all things Shakespeare. Each portion of the five-part series runs two hours a piece, and stands on its own. Mix and match the parts, or watch all five for a comprehensive Shakespeare marathon.
The production features sound design by Daniel Kluger, set and costume design by Valerie Bart and lighting design by Les Dickert.
