'Motown: The Musical' begins its Broadway run on March 11.

Motown: The Musical begins Broadway performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on March 11. The new show chronicles the life of Berry Gordy,  Motown's legendary founder who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and more. With a book by Gordy himself, the musical features classic songs from the record label's famous catalogue. Opening night is set for April 14.

The production stars Brandon Victor Dixon as Gordy, Valisia LeKae as Diana Ross, Charl Brown as Smokey Robinson, Bryan Terrell Clark as Marvin Gaye and Raymond Luke Jr. and Jibreel Mawry as Young Berry Gordy, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder.

The show's ensemble includes Timothy J. Alex, Nicholas Christopher, Rebecca E. Covington, Ariana Debose, Andrea Dora, Preston W. Dugger III, Wilkie Ferguson, Dionne Figgins, Marva Hicks, Sasha Hutchings, Lauren Lim Jackson, Morgan James, John Jellison, Crystal Joy, Grasan Kingsberry, Marielys Molina, Sydney Morton, Jarran Muse, Maurice Murphy, Jesse Nager, Milton Craig Nealy, N’Kenge, Dominic Nolfi, Saycon Sengbloh, Ryan Shaw, Jamal Story, Eric LaJuan Summers, Ephraim Sykes, Julius Thomas III, Daniel J. Watts and Donald Webber, Jr.
