Adam Pascal Set to Razzle Dazzle 'Em as Billy Flynn in Broadway's Chicago

Tony nominee and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Adam Pascal will assume the role of slick lawyer Billy Flynn in Broadway's Chicago beginning April 8. Pascal replaces two-time Tony nominee Christopher Sieber, who will play his final performance on April 7. Chicago continues its run at the Ambassador Theatre.

Set in the 1920s, Chicago follows Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover. Desperate to avoid conviction, she hires Billy Flynn, Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer, much to the dismay of her rival cellmate Velma Kelly. Directed by Walter Bobbie, the Tony-winning revival is now in its 17th year.

Pascal received a Tony nomination for his Broadway debut as Roger in Rent, which he also played in the off-Broadway premiere and later in London. He also originated the role of Radames in Broadway's Aida. His other Broadway credits include the final Emcee in Cabaret and the final Huey in Memphis. Pascal's other career highlights include co-producing the off-Broadway hit Fully Committed, performing alongside Queen's Brian May and starring as Freddy Trumper in Chess alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel. Pascal has three solo recordings, Model Prisoner, Civilian and Blinding Light.

Chicago currently stars Amy Spanger as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
