Alec Baldwin swung by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on April 1 to chat about his role as kidnapped gangster Harold in the Broadway premiere of Orphans. Baldwin revealed why he felt compelled to take on Lyle Kessler's "funny, dark and absurd fable." "Theater for an actor is like the sorbet course, it's like the palate cleanser that I have," he said. The Emmy winner also confessed to pulling quite possibly the worst April Fools' Day prank ever on his daughter, Ireland, and what happened when he ran into famed playwright John Guare.
