Australian Stage Star Trevor Ashley to Make West End Debut as Liza Minnelli in Liza (on an E)
Trevor Ashley will channel the grand Liza Minnelli in 'Liza (on an E)' in the West End.

Australian musical star Trevor Ashley will make his West End debut as Liza Minnelli in Liza (on an E), running at the Vaudeville Theatre from May 14 through May 18.

The show will “dish the dirt” on Minnelli’s iconic life, from her marriage to Australian performer Peter Allen to her ubiquitous showbiz family. Ashley channels Minnelli (and her mother) in a performance packed with all of the diva’s greatest hits, accompanied by a live onstage band.

Liza (on an E) is written by Ashley and Dean Bryant and features direction by Bryant.

Ashley is a well-known star in Australia, having created the role of Miss Understanding in the original Australian cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. He also appeared in Jerry Springer: The Opera, Hairspray and The Producers.
