After a 30 year absence, the one-and-only Bette Midler returned to Broadway on April 5 in the new solo play I’ll Eat You Last. Midler stars as legendary Hollywood agent Sue Mengers in the newest work from Tony-winning playwright John Logan. Directed by Tony winner Joe Mantello, the show invites audiences into Menger’s Beverly Hills salon to dish the dirt and meet the woman behind the tinted glasses. The first preview crowd included A-list stars Liza Minnelli and Debbie Reynolds as well as Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter and the other lead producers of the show. Broadway.com photographer Bruce Glikas went backstage at the Booth Theatre for exclusive photographs of this esteemed group.
